Avram Elected President of ASLMS

Mathew M. Avram, MD

Mathew M. Avram, MD, JD, was elected president of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS) on April 7, 2017. He is the director of the Massachusetts General Hospital Dermatology Laser & Cosmetic Center, faculty director for Laser and Cosmetic Training in the department of dermatology at Harvard Medical School, and associate professor of dermatology at Harvard Medical School.

“I am honored to serve the society of over 4,000 scientists, engineers, allied health professionals, physicians, and members of industry who continue to define and expand the field,” said Dr. Avram. “It is a true honor and privilege to safeguard and promote the Society in every way possible, as ASLMS is the most important and innovative society for the development of the field.”

  • Board Representative, Nursing/Allied Health Representative: Rebecca Sprague, RN, NP-C
