Carl Thornfeldt, MD, founder and CEO of Episciences, makers of the Epionce line of skincare products (epionce.com), was named Innovator of the Year at the Idaho Innovations Awards 2011. The awards are presented by law firm Stoel Rives, LLP; Kickstand, an entrepreneurial support organization; and the Idaho Technology Council (ITC). "It was a great privilege to be presented with the Innovator of the Year award from an outstanding group of nominees," said Dr. Thornfeldt. "This award is a tribute to the decades of hard work, sacrifice and research that ultimately led to what is now known in the marketplace as Epionce."
