Educational Campaign on the Future of Cosmetic Procedures Launching This Spring

The International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and aesthetic device manuafacturer Eclipse Aesthetics have teamed up with Mediaplanet Publishing to release an educational cross-media campaign titled “The Future of Cosmetic Procedures.” The campaign will launch this spring as a national online digital campaign and regionally in print as an eight to 12 page section distributed within the LA Times.

Mediaplanet publishing says that it developed the campaign in an effort to debunk the negative stigma associated with cosmetic procedures, highlight the most recent innovations in the industry, and empower potential patients with the tools they need to safely navigate the industry and consider pursuing a cosmetic procedure.

The campaign covers topics, including minimally invasive cosmetic procedures, patient safety, finding the right surgeon and inspirational patient success stories. It will feature the expertise of medical professionals in the industry, including dermatologist Tess Mauricio, MD, and plastic surgeon Paul Nassif, MD.

“As evolving technologies merge with improved cosmetic techniques, selecting the appropriate practitioner is critical,” says Tom O’Brien CEO of Eclipse Aesthetics. “In the proper hands the ability to reverse the signs of aging have never been greater, especially in this new modern era of aesthetic medicine.”
