American Academy of Dermatology Launches Search for Next Executive Director

The American Academy of Dermatology (www.aad.org) has retained Korn/Ferry International, the world's largest executive search firm, to conduct the search for the Academy's next executive director. This individual will succeed Ronald A. Henrichs, CAE, who retired from the Academy on June 5.
An Ad Hoc Task Force will work with Korn/Ferry International on the executive director search. The task force is chaired by AAD immediate past president, Ronald L. Moy, MD, FAAD, and includes Suzanne M. Olbricht, MD, FAAD, secretary-treasurer who will serve as vice chair; Daniel M. Siegel, MD, FAAD, president; Dirk M. Elston, MD, FAAD, president-elect; Brett M. Coldiron, MD, FAAD, incoming president-elect; Barbara M. Mathes, MD, FAAD, assistant secretary-treasurer; Jean L. Bolognia, MD, FAAD; Boni E. Elewski, MD, FAAD; Lisa A. Garner, MD, FAAD; C. William Hanke, MD, FAAD; Mark Lebwohl, MD, FAAD; Henry W. Lim, MD, FAAD; David M. Pariser, MD, FAAD; and Darrell S. Rigel, MD, FAAD.

The search is expected to take up to six months. Eileen M. Murray, MM, CFRE, CAE, who has served the Academy as the deputy executive director for the past four years, will continue to serve as acting executive director until a new director is hired.
