ADCS Clinics To Acquire Ohio Dermatology Clinic

Advanced Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery (ADCS) announced that it will acquire Mason Dermatology in Mason, Ohio. Founded in 1989 by Matt Leavitt, MD, ADCS is a dermatology-focused practice with more than 70 clinics in Florida and Ohio providing clinical, cosmetic, surgical and pathology services. ADCS also provides billing and coding management services for dermatology practices under the Ameriderm trade name.

Jan Fu, MD, who has broad research and clinical experience in free radicals, membrane receptors and photo-induced skin damage, is the founder of Mason Dermatology. She has published more than a dozen papers and has been a featured speaker in local and at national and international symposiums. In practice since 1990, Dr. Fu is a board certified dermatologist, who is also certified in Cutaneous Laser Surgery by Harvard Medical School and has a PhD in chemistry.

She is a clinical consultant, principal investigator in clinical studies and speaker for P&G and many other pharmaceutical companies. Dr. Fu had been a Clinical faculty (volunteer) at the University of Cincinnati, Department of Dermatology as well as a Group leader at P&G in skin care & drug related research, and is a Board member of Brown Mackie College, Cincinnati.
