The American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) is accepting applications from those who would like to attend the 2017 Cochrane Colloquim, which will take place September 12 to 17 in Cape Town, South Africa. The travel grant is part of the AAD Cochrane Scholarship, founded to promote training in evidence-based medicine and expand its reach in the field of dermatology.
Attendees will learn state-of-the-art techniques for producing high-quality systematic reviews and develop their own systematic review upon their return. Scholarship recipients also will be introduced to the Cochrane Skin Group, providing them with opportunities for international networking. AAD members and residents from the U.S. and Canada are invited to apply. The submission deadline is January 2, 2017.
